MVC with heavy entrapment at dragstrip

Sussex EOC alerted Station 74 Delmar, Sussex County EMS Medic 102 and Delaware State Police Medevac Trooper 2 for a motor vehicle accident with heavy entrapment at Delmar Speedway. Gumboro Fire Dept was also alerted for a Rescue Co assist. Crews worked to free a patient from a racecar that struck another car and came to rest in the woodline against a tree. The patient flown to Christiana Hospital. Thanks to all agencies and people who worked together to help this patient; Speedway EMS, Delmar Fire Dept, Gumboro Fire Dept, SCEMS, Delmar Police and Delaware State Troopers.
