Qualifications
21 years of age
Current Maryland Paramedic
Current National Registry Paramedic
Firefighter 1 (or equivalent)
Current CPR/AED
Current ACLS & PALS
Current MD and/or DE EVO
Delaware EMT-Basic (must obtain in 6 months)
Schedule
24 hours on, 72 hours off rotating schedule
Wages/Benefits
$18.00 per hour, overtime AFTER 48 hours
Raises based on DFD handbook
Employer paid Health Insurance
Retirement plan (under DFD guidelines)
Paid time off (AFTER 1 year)
Job Responsibilities
Staffing the Ambulances, providing quality care in accordance with MD ALS protocols and fire suppression activities as needed. The employee will be responsible for maintaining all certifications required by the DFD. Also, daily checks and additional job duties as required.
