Serious MVC with reported entrapment

While handling an MVC on the Maryland side, Delmar Fire Dept was alerted for another MVC on the Delaware side at 08:41 hours. This MVC was reported as serious with entrapment. Laurel Fire Dept Station 81 was requested to assist with EMS and Rescue. Engine 74-3 responded from Delmar and other Delmar units cleared the first MVC, which turned out to be non-injury, to assist on this call. Delmar Police and Delaware State Police also responded. Units arrived to find a two vehicle, T-bone type MVC at northbound US 13 & E. Snake Road. Both vehicles were in a ditch. One patient was transported with serious injuries.
